ABOUT ME


Hello! I’m Clare, a food writer, forager and cook based in Malvern, Worcestershire.

Unusual ingredients, food and where it comes from has been fascinating me since I was little. From pulling up potatoes on my grandad’s allotment to my first job in the kitchen of an incredible Sri Lankan restaurant, I’ve always ended up somewhere amongst produce and people. Galvanised by travel and 10 years working in food media (5 of which as food editor for Jamie Oliver), my passion for provenance and seasonality has led me back, quite literally, to my roots and where it all began.

The connection between food, nature and people couldn’t be more important than it is now and I am very excited to share how precious, delicious and powerful this relationship can be.
